I heard about your product on the "John Tesh Show" on Christian Radio J93.3FM Atlanta, GA. It was on a segment concerning home safety. I went to your web site, and was impressed by the product. I have been concerned about my senior Mother taking showers, and have been looking for the best solution to tub safety. I immediately ordered 2 and within 10 days or so they arrived. To Stop Slipping,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Due to a health concern, I have not been able to stand securely in one place for more than a few minutes. This condition has stopped me from being able to shower as I am afraid of slipping. Recently, I have learned that the internet is a wonderful place to find things that I did not even know existed. I typed in the words "bathtub safety" and there you were!

Below is a letter that I have sent out to a few "safety" sites touting your product. These were places I originally went to find a solution. I want to thank you for not only living up to all your claims, but surpassing them. You have, as you slogan reads, provided peace of mind for my family. Please feel free to show this to anyone that EVER questions your company.

I am one of those baby boomers – getting on as we all do, but not ready to admit it.  Like most people in my age group, I am still a part of the “work force.”  And, like many women my age, I raised my children as a single parent.  They are now adults.  Still, until recently I was co-parenting my five grandchildren as my oldest daughter is now raising her family as a second generation, single mom.

As we were on a very limited income, we moved to a home that perhaps housed multiple families over 40 years, leaving their marks, memories and wear and tear wherever you looked.  And, I always looking for inexpensive ways to “fix” things or make them work, went on the web for answers.  (Yes, I am the grandma who doesn’t necessarily bake cookies, but my grandkids know how to find the recipes on the Internet).

With a family this big, and ages running from newborn, to toddler, to preschooler, to two in elementary school, bath time became a big event in my household.  One worn tub and one shower amongst us, and very little “buy it new” dollars between us meant that “grandma who knows all” must find a way to make bath time safer for us all.

While surfing the web (yes, grandmas do that children), crossing all search engines, I came upon a website that offered a product called “TubSafe.”  What a great combination; these were magic words to my heart.  It wasn’t about decals or bathmats, (which I had come to the conclusion were my last resort).  It was a liquid treatment that supposedly made the tub and shower floor as close slip-free as possible.  I could only hope!

With a newborn and two little ones vying for tub time, and certainly desiring to stand more than sit with the tub toys, I took a shot at the tub safe stuff.  Lightheartedness as side, I really worried about the children slipping as does any concerned parent.  You are there with them, and sometimes they are in the tub with you, but you are constantly reminding them to sit down.  Not mention the fact, that as a baby boomer, I am more likely to go “boom” in the bottom of my shower that I was twenty years ago.

Make it short, grandma.  OK, I bought the treatment (under $20 with a promise to last a minimum of three years – grandmas check for that!)  And, it worked. You apply one liquid followed by another and viola  it is slip-resistant.  It also is, from what I read, environmentally safe for those flower children of yore.

To Whom It May Concern,

 I am not sure if this fits in with your site, but I thought it might help others. 2 months ago, my father (77 years old), slipped in the bathtub and hit his head. He lives in Woodland Hills, CA. He was standing on a mat at the time. Since I live 3000 miles away, I decided I would scoure the Internet to see if there was anything that might do better. I went to websites and found only mats and seats then on to other sites and found decals at one, but nothing else except a handrail. Even your site didn’t answer my quest as I thought it might since it was about safety. My wife and I took a vacation to a hotel in Rehoboth, DE and I went to take a shower. I noticed there was nothing in the tub. I called the front desk to ask where a mat was and they said it wasn’t necessary, as they had installed a "treatment" to stop slipping. I proceeded to shower and I didn't budge.

I went to the front desk and they had me speak to the hotel engineer. He told me that he has been using this treatment for years in their property. I asked him the name of the product. He went and looked it up, but said they only sell to commercial users. He called the company right then and discovered that they had just set up a home user site on the internet.   

When I got home, I went to the site, saw how inexpensive it was, knew it worked from my stay in the hotel and ordered the product for my father's tub. It came and he installed it by himself in just a few minutes.. It worked great and the whole bottom of the tub is done so wherever he stands or moves he doesn’t slip. He feels more secure standing and even sitting, as he doesn’t lose his grip.
